First thing you need to update your ubuntu repository.
Then install the squid
lsb_release -a;apt -y install squid
Open squid using edit, in my case i’m using Gedit.
go to line 993 and define your server IP address.
acl lan src 192.168.0.10/24
and add these configuration to other lines.
http_access allow lan
request_header_access Referer deny all request_header_access X-Forwarded-For deny all request_header_access Via deny all request_header_access Cache-Control deny all
and saved the file!
Restart the squid
systemctl restart squid
Open your connection setting on your browser.in this case i used firefox.
and put the proxy IP address and Port.
